Logic says
Motorcycles have few legitimate uses and those uses can be done using other forms of transport.
Motorcycles are dangerous. They kill people, and leave many others with life changing injuries.
The cost to the NHS and the UK economy cannot be justified in these straightened times.
Therefore motorcycles are banned. All motorcycles must be handed in to the authorities by 1 June 2023. There will be no exceptions.

If you crash into someone whilst on a bike purposfully that is classed as an assault with a deadly weapon by the law.
So maybe they are!
Every bike i have got on has tried to kill me so i'm living proof...

I can assure you that not all guns are designed to kill things. Specialist target guns are certainly not, and are actually very inefficient at killing. They are usually heavy, cumbersome, and their ammunition is designed for accuracy above any striking power. Some are even still single shot.
Never mind, your mind set, "guns are bad, ban them" is a popular refrain in the Home Office, and with many MPs. Most of them metaphorically sing "la, la, la, guns kill, la, la, la." at any attempt to actually educate them, as do you.

It also gives the ultimate in accuracy. Nothing moves except the firing pin,

Punctuation is what separates you from people who can write their own native language.
What American’s what, you damned dope?
Re: Should the UK grow up and seriously restrict alcohol use/ownership
American person, more than one, is a plural, so the apostrophe.
As you say, punctuation is what separates you from people who can write their own native language, you damned dope.

You really don't understand how wrong you are, do you? Plurals are denoted by the addition of an 's'. A single American, a group of Americans. The apostrophe is used to indicate the omission of a letter or letters, as when "it is" is truncated to "it's" or "is not" is truncated to "isn't".
Hoist on your own petard, as Shakespeare might say.

Aren't you going to ask for 'proof', which you'll then reject because it doesn't suit your point of view?

We have done apostrophes, can we have views on the Oxford comma?
