Same way as the rest of us.
You have to put up with his wife ?
It’s an example of humour.

Many more deaths are caused by alcohol.
Booze doesn't go into schools and shoot your children in the cock though.

What is the cause when a drunk person shoots someone?

Guns don’t piss in the cutlery drawer.

The world could do with some more deaths, the eldest 5% would be best though. 👍

Guns don’t get drunk and beat their wives or plough into pedestrians on the pavement.

You’re going to lose this argument.
I don't think either of us will, that was the point.

Motorcycles kill people and are unnecessary.

In the village I lived as a teenager most people were staunch Methodists. Several teenage mates had "signed the pledge" to abstain from alcohol, or rather their parents had signed for them, soon after birth.

Kick out the CoE, make Methodism the state religion.

Did they stick to it? Just the sort of people who come at it late, get hooked like it's Charley and go on a mental rampage.

Stick to it, no, but lightweights. Usually gave up after 3 pints.

The Methodists I knew in Cornwall are somewhat different to the ones here. Several years ago a mate volunteered me to help him with a project at his local Methodist church in LA. I can only assume that most of the blokes at that church were talentless gimps who would need instruction & close supervision to hold a hammer by the correct end. I was there for maybe half a day working in the main entrance & by the time I left I had a pocket full of phone numbers from the women who wandered through where I was working, ended up banging most of them over the next few months. :)

Written by a good SNP supporter who doesn't think the government are to blame for Scotland's substance abuse problems and would rather blame a particular brand of booze.
What's next, ban Pfizer to cure the very high drug death rate?
