I've two close friends who died way before their time, booze was a big part of why that happened. Neither of them had low IQ, arguably both had depression. I'm pretty sure without freely available booze they'd have found some other way to off themselves.

I quite like a glass of wine and it certainly brightens up a Friday.

Makes me laugh, next they will start to try and ban tourists in the coffeeshops, how long have they been trying to do that for, 30 years?

The dutch are just as bad. I have been to a few darts tournaments in Rotterdam and the football hooligans are more mental than here in the uk. I remember getting the train to the Ahoy stadium and it rocking left and right on the tracks as almost 100% of the train was chanting football songs and going pretty mental.

There was also a massive fight there that year in the stadium with chairs being thrown the lot, that was the last time for me, it was just to 'football' for my liking, i hate football with a passion.

I think they need to look in the mirror before pointing the finger at us brits.
