Fitted the end can yesterday, which took about 5 minutes. Downside is the SC Project sticker is partially hidden behind the support strap, which annoys me. I've left it for now rather than remove it but suspect it'll play on me and end up getting removed?
I then took the headlight and cowl out to get to the AIT connector to put the fuel adjuster in line. But I couldn't not get a panel off to get at it. It then started to pour with rain, and is going to rain pretty much all day. So even now I have the answer on how to remove the panel, it doesn't look like I'll get to it today. Lighter evenings are here though...

Well, today was the real litmus test. Today wasn't about riding open b roads, today was riding it in the environment is has to suit and I can safely say what a piece of shit! I think I can also safely say it has the worse fuelling I've ever experianced on a bike.
Honestly, it is bloody awful. If you're familiar with the old term kangaroo juice, you'll have an idea of what I mean. It jumps about like it has a misfire at certain revs and trying to use the gears to keep it in the smoother spots was hard work!
But, I did find out why they bothered putting urban mode on there! Out of desperation,I pulled over and got it into Urban mode and found the bike is a lot easier to ride around town in Urban than it is in Touring. I think Sport mode must literally be for track use, or empty B roads, or Xaus?
I'm really busy at work or I'd take a half day and get the fuel controller fitted. Might be able to do it on these lighter evenings though. Now I've got it into Urban mode and it's a lot more usable, I suppose it can wait until Friday. I'll see how I get on with it on the ride home?
Ergonomics wise, its pretty much bang on for the sitting position. Suspension is bouncy and soft, which kinda works well over London's pot hole ridden streets, but I think it'd benefit from more preload and less compression on the shock? Forks aren't even adjustable, so they'll have to do as they are.
Motards are just brilliant for hacking through town on. The exhaust has a nice little growl to it, but is certainly not loud. I suppose if I took the cat out it might be, but i'm not going to do that. I'm not actually sure about the can anyway. It sits at an odd angle? So the Jurys out on that at the moment.

It might have exacerbated the problem a bit? But they are just notorious for their jerky throttle at low revs.

I've said it a few times. But i think it's honestly you not the bikes, they can't ALL have rubbish fuelling... My GSXR has dodgy fueling despite always using posh Repsol 98 stuff.
A few weeks ago I had to put some BP stuff in. Wow. Amazing difference.

It's not just me, many others complain about it and tuners even advertise a remap as a way to get rid of the low throttle jerkiness. You have to bear in mind, i'm not just out there working my way up and down the box. What you want is a nice GSXS 1000. Pick a gear, any gear will work at about 20mph and it trickles along nicely. It does have an iffy fueling spot but much higher up the rev range but it's perfect in traffic

There's no iffy fueling on the 750, but then again I don't trickle along at low rpm in high gears, or go out of my way to find bad fuelling, I also owned a Husky 610 with a Dell Horrible carb, which fuelled worse than a poorly tuned two stroke, so what I consider good might be what Taipan considers bad.
