How many Media Subscriptions do you have?

It's mental how many subscriptions to media corporations we can have these days. TV, Streaming, Hosting etc.

In app purchases in amazon prime, Netflix etc, how much more will they try and con us out of. "oh you want to watch the good films, you have to pay more for that, we just show the shit stuff under your subscription now as you have been with us for too loog" - how long before that is an advertising logo?

And that’s it(I think), I have the Discovery+ for the bikes and the rest is what we pretty much watch all the time. We don’t really watch daytime tv, I think the wife will watch the usual pish when she’s getting ready for work in the morning.

Disney+ was mostly cause Baby D is old enough to be into Disney princesses. Doesn't matter what I say about girly princesses, she's got peers at school now

Prime because finding stuff in Spain can be tricky and mean a long drive. MotoGP because I like it.

You get Netflix included with Sky these days.

I tried to sign up for the base Sky package with a streaming 'puck', but DPD fucked up the delivery and Sky insisted on placing a 2nd order for a new puck and couldn't provide free setup for a 2nd time, then after a heated discussion they could, but I'd have to pay it and they'd refund it. I felt it was bad karma, so I told them to jog on.

I'll stick with the Poorview built into my telly (and Disney+ that I'm going to cancel).

We dip in and out of tv/film subscriptions as and when there's stuff to watch. We'd always used Spotify for music until very recently they changed the homescreen, switched to Tidal.

Netflix and Spotify. The number was creeping up last year and I decided it was ony going to get worse so I insisted on a reset and I wasn't paying for any others.

Prime - for shopping, rarely watch anything on it
FilmOn - website that I can stream uk tv, and record a bit too

Had Canal+ (with Disney+ included) last year but only got Canal + for the MotoGP and was miffed when I found out I couldn't see WSB or BSB on it And it's sodding difficult to understand the commentary! French isn't easy, but 'excited commentator French' is way above my level!! LOL


Will probably get Canal+ again when the winter season is over to see the MotoGP. Unless I can get Discovery+ here and see all the bike racing on that!

Really need to get organised and try a VPN to see if I can get uk EuroSport through that and if I can see stuff like ITV and BBC catch up - that will be cheaper than either Canal+ and FilmOn, definitely a saving on the two!! But only if it works!!

We have prime in the house, but that's for the delivery, not the telly as I don't watch much telly and the missus can't work it.
