Dick Fosbury has got over the final jump at the age of 76.

Some say he changed the way athletes got over the high jump, which is true but, as I understand it, he could do it because the landing side changed from being a sand pit to being a big cushion too. Whatever, the 'Fosbury Flop' entered the language.

I heard they had to bury him 7’4” deep (just in case).

Paul O’Grady died, unexpectedly and peacefully. Only 67, what will Battersea do now. Not my favourite ever entertainer but once he dropped the drag bit I found him bearable.

Shame about Paul O'Grady. I always liked him. He was audience appropriate with his humour and a lot of supposedly bigger acts could learn that from him. Fantastic work for the LGBT community and of course animals.
RIP.

Yes. Really nice and talented man who, even if people don't know him, they've probably heard his music.

Nora Forster (John Lydon's wife of nearly 50 years) passed away today. She had been living with Alzheimer's for many years and John had been her full time carer.

Freddie Scappaticci has died, last week apparently. He probably went more peacefully than a lot of people he helped on their way.

He was supposedly 'Stakeknife', a British agent within the top ranks of the IRA (which he denied) so I guess he was pretty lucky not to have been topped a long time ago.

I'll not mourn him, that's for sure.

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

That cunt offed a fair few innocent people to save his own skin.
