Portuguese MotoGP
After all these off months, we've finally got some racing.
What I want to see is Fab Frog, MM and Maverick all in the top ten. Preferably 2 of them in top 6.
I don't want it to become the Ducati show.
I've set my alarm for FP1 at 9:00 in the morning.

Re: Portuguese MotoGP
I think it'll be as mixed as we hope.... but not all sessions, not all races and not all season.
I still think the Ducatis will dominate this year. But Quat, Spag and Mav will have a few good days.
I don't think Marquez will though as the Honda is THAT bad...

Re: Portuguese MotoGP
The Ducati is now a well sorted bike,so it'll be their time in the sun until some of the others develop a bike anyone can challenge on.
On paper, the championship is Ducati's to lose, but racing throws up surprises and nothing is set in stone.

Re: Portuguese MotoGP
Fingers crossed it’s not pish and there’s some proper good battles, especially in the closing laps for the win.

Re: Portuguese MotoGP
I think Fab and MM in the top 10 is a fairly good bet, Maverick not so good a bet. It all depends on which Maverick turns up.
The sprint race should be fun - let's see who lobs it and spanners themselves for the race on Sunday.

Re: Portuguese MotoGP
Is it Matt Birt and the other bloke commentating? If so, Birt I like, and the other one get's less painful to listen to after a while.

Yes, he's been a bit of a revelation since the Honda shackles have been removed. Just imagine what Marquez the Elder could do on a Duc...

Re: Portuguese MotoGP
Just thinking. The Marquez brothers have never been in a scrap for the lead before. Be interesting to watch if it happens this year
