Personally I can't listen to music while riding or driving because its just too distracting. I switch it on when stuck in a traffic jam but have to turn it off once on the move. I'm sure not everyone is affected like this but I'm the sort who finds lift music and background music abhorrent.

I have music on pretty much all the time off the bike and really like listening to it on the bike if I have a long journey, just not when I'm out for a play.

I used Sennheiser in ear phones for a while but even though they were noise blocking I had to have them up too loud to be safe for my hearing on long journeys. They were ok for the boring commute though.

I've got a Cardo Packtalk Bold JBL now with speakers in the helmet. It's not loud enough though for wearing with earplugs for some music, it's ok but you need to choose your music carefully.

Sena SRL2 integrated into my GT Air 2. Love a bit of music when I'm riding.

I only ever listened to music on the bike when I first started riding. But, after riding home from work on the back roads with music on and nearly coming acropper, I stopped. After that I only occasionally listened to music if I was doing a very long motorway journey!! Now, I never do. I'm happy to just focus on the bike, the noise and the road :D :D

I've got an Arai, so I took the cheek pads out, removed the covers, stuck the speakers in the ear cut outs and put the felt covers back on.

I wear ear plugs and can still hear the tunes perfectly.

I don't catch my ears on the speakers because they're under the lining.
That's how I have mine, took the Shark lid lining out, fitted speakers and replaced the lining. I wear ear plugs and can hear the directions fine.

Yes I like listening to music when I am riding. Same as a few others I have a Cardo Bluetooth set up with the speakers in the ear pockets and wearing earplugs to limit wind noise.

I just make sure I don’t listen to the Prodigy too much as things can escalate quickly

I think that's a good point, i tend to listen to stuff i know very well, and which i can tune out when necessary.

That being said.... There's some Prodigy in the playlist... :D
