Years and years ago I heard something on the radio and dashed off to see the band at the first opportunity in a pub in W London. They've mellowed but, have some Ozzie pub rock. :) Hunters and Collectors (they go out at night...if you know your Can).

Talking of mental health, I came across this this evening. It pretty much sums up mental health issues. I wish this guy the best of luck with his music career.

Just listening to the new Rolling Stones album Hackney Diamonds, having heard a couple of tracks on Planet Rock.

Tell you what, for a bunch of guys who are contemporaries of Biden, Trump, Charlie Tres et al they've still got some swagger. Hope I'm as strutty as this when I'm >80

Mick Jagger busy sounding more like Mick Jagger than he has in a long time.

I found stumbled on this while enjoying a friends Favs playlist. It was new to me and gave me an annoying earworm.

This song popped into my head the other day:

Standing Next to Me, by The Last Shadow Puppets

I always liked The Last Shadow Puppets in a retro kind of way. Almost like Alex Turner started channeling the spirit of Scott Walker when he was on his day off from Artic Monkeys.

Heard this gem on the radio and got to wondering what happened to Jamie T. One day he was the Next Big Thing, then seemed to fall of the face of the Earth.

Edit: Lemongrass and ginger infusion.

This guy came up on YT last night. Never heard of him myself, but he belts this ballad out well and he clearly models himself on someone very famous, which become very apparent towards the end...

Woke up this morning, as the ol' blues song goes, with this 80's banger going through my head. Where it came from, I have no idea...

Alison Moyet's great voice and Vince Clarke on keyboard. What's not to like? Break out the shoulder pads, the big hair and revel in some 80's new-wave synth pop...

Oh, and coffee was drunk, as it was 6.30 in the morning. :hmmm:
