I believe it was Harold Wilson that coined the phrase 'a week is a long time in politics'.

A week is a long time in Weeksy's garage...

12 months ticket, half decent tyres and its got the blue spot calipers so decent brakes too ....make him a cheeky offer and i'm almost tempted myself if i am honest to upgrade to the 1000cc but my 600 Fazer does what i need of it and just turned 40,000 miles

Good shout. But very much a no from me.

I'm waiting to see what the £1300 offer in the Firestorm does and we'll see from there. Obviously as it's bloody cold and horrible it doesn't matter right away

IIRC they over tuned the 650 twin a bit too much and they were a bit fragile, but I'm sure Weeksy wouldn't be bothering the redline :p

I had one of those about 15 years ago (way better nick and cost me 2k iirc), same colour even.

Without question the most disappointing bike (given looks, Ducati name, reputation) I've ever ridden.

Never even heard of that before.

I'm sure at the end of the day it's just a fairly boggo budgetish 650 twin. But it's a Laverda with an almost trellis frame. Love it, looks way better than 2k :D

I thoiught you didn't want sporty?

I had a Firestorm about 20 years ago, it replsced a VFR750 and a CBR600. It was much less comfortable than either of those despite fitting higher bars and an aftermarket (Corbin) seat.

I know some people love them, but I couldn't get on with mine and sold it at a loss after 18 months - and I used to keep my bikes for 4 or 5 years
