How about this one ..... you'll fit on it no problem, it will be comfy and no problem keeping up with the others on the odd day you decide to ride it or even take it on track just for shits and giggles ;)

12 months ticket, half decent tyres and its got the blue spot calipers so decent brakes too ....make him a cheeky offer and i'm almost tempted myself if i am honest to upgrade to the 1000cc but my 600 Fazer does what i need of it and just turned 40,000 miles

He'll take £2000.

I'll get the hat to pass round

No, not that hat.

Only downside is distance and price lol

That, it's only £500 more than the one I just sold with 20k less miles and the newer black engine, oh, and it appears this one runs

Dunno what height you are, but if your inside leg is over 30 inches, you'll hate an SV. Only reason I sold mine was because it made me legs go numb.

So with a roughly £1500 budget... What are you seeing.
You missed the boat mate, CCs/GPs CBR600 was the best £1500 bike ever, it was nasty under the fairing and you'd have had a coronary, I doubt you'd have kept it for long, but it did the business, I still see it now and then.

I'd look for something like that, but maybe they've gone up now.
Whatever it is, I can't see you keeping it for long.
Sports or semi sports have no purpose in my life... Whether motorbikes do is open to debate, but things like a CBR600 DEFFO ain't it. Not only can i not get on with the knee position, but i don't like the riding position either. Hence why my recent favourites have been the XSR900 and 690 Duke. The thing with a £1500 bike is, it's always a £1500 bike, arguably with me owning it, it's then a £1600-1800 bike as i make it nicer than most when i'm bored. If i buy an £8000 bike it goes back to a dealer as a £6000 bike and i'm down £2000. If i buy a £1500 bike and get bored, i punt it out for £1500 and i'm all equal.

Hmmm, if that was closer I'd probably have it, would definitely be looking at it- I fancied @Nordboy 's as my next occasional track day bike project, but was too late
And that is interesting  - cheap enough to tart/ bling up a little and just stick in a corner and bring out on the occasional sunny weekend to take Barnaby the the dog to the pub with us :)
