Those headers need flung. They look like a couple of old dozed and swollen garden hoses. Cats I assume?Taipan wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 10:31 am Got one of these at work and I think its quite striking. If I do go for a second bike in the summer, I think it'll make the possibles list. That said, if the engine sounds as bad as the Himalaya, it wont!

I think they're the cats, bikes look so much better when the cats are under the engine.Skub wrote: Sat Feb 25, 2023 3:29 pm

I think they're different year bikes If you look at the latest MT07's you'll notice a cat in the downpipe.Probably the same with other models.

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
Simple quick visual check is the cylinder heads - CX has them twisted, to point the exhausts out and carbs in.

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
I know,I own a SV650
According to the description it's from a Suzuki Savage.I'm guessing it's the same motor as the DR650.
It looks like it's also running a belt final drive

The Savage had an engine all of its own, it's even more gutless than the DR650.
