WSBK Superpole Game.

The game play is simple, you guess what you think the Superpole qualifying time will be and the closest 5 get points, and the guess is the exact time for example 1.31:872*

Each round I will put up what the Superpole time was for the previous year and you use that as a benchmark.

Points will be

1st - 10pts
2nd - 8pts
3rd - 6 pts
4th - 4 pts
5th - 2 pts

Halfway through the year the points will be reset and the leader will get a Motul chain cleaning kit.

Then the same again for the second half of the season.

Rules are simple, guess the time before the Superpole (qualifying) starts and that’s it.

*I want you to guess two times, one for dry and one for the wet. Rule of thumb is the wet time is usually 10-15% slower than the dry time, so the posted Superpole time from the previous year will help towards guessing.

For example Toprak was on pole at Phillip Island with a 1.29:400 and his best lap time from a wet race 1 was a 1.42:255 which is 15% more.

I think if the numbers are low it can revert back to the initial cleaning kit or similar money value. You can also be included as well.

Where is the fun in that ?

Guesses before FP1 starts or after FP2/3 "could" be a stipulation to keep things in line rather than someone waiting till 30 secs before qualifying starts

So long as it’s before qualifying that’s all that matters. You don’t gain anything tbf and before it starts seems fair.
