Same for me, and I got 4 hours overtime at £45 an hour tonight, it's the gift that keeps on giving, it's just boring and frustrating, there's no stress though, as we've got a full backup and spare firewall, it's not everyone who gets to play with something that cost £140K, and that's small money compared to some of our kit.

You should try IBM zSeries mainframes - the z15 was the last one I worked on. A fully configured zSeries will set you back best part of £2.5 million. And that's before you add in the OS and software stack...

I enjoyed selling S/390 and z900's to a certain bank in Sheffield :D

Become a bus driver, the kids coming through training school are going into buses costing 650k.
