Re: Lazarus thread - drinking and listening
No drink tonight. But, I love listening to music when drinking. Last time I had a solo session I watched Kings of Leon live at the Apollo from around 2007 or so. Great set, wish I'd been to see them live before they become so popular.

A bottle in front of me or a frontal lobotomy - 2017 Faugeres red in this case. And a blast from the past...

Re: Lazarus thread - drinking and listening
I am not drinking as I am working while listening to Spotify. This came on and I had forgotten this song and that I know the lyrics off by heart. I listened to this album relentlessly as a child and may be a better person now because of it. Proper poetry.

Re: Lazarus thread - drinking and listening
I'm pining for a holiday, longing to be sat in the shade, warm breeze, the lap of the surf and a cool drink in hand. Currently listening to my 'Sunset chill' playlist.

Gremlinette is revising for her mock A levels this week, so Classic FM is on, as she always revises with it on in the background. No idea why.
Bloody dreary.

Must make more of an effort to come here and pick up some new choons.
I used to love listening to music in the 70s/ 80s/90s/20s - but Dua Lupa doesn't strike me a the next Primal Scream/ Stone Roses/ Clash/ Elvis Costello or Paul Weller
I also need to make the algorithm in Spotify work harder - as it seems to have me stuck in the new wave with Northern Soul margins. Which is not entirely true
