@Slenver

Using the iPhone was really flaky on Teams ( but I had to use google chrome as the host platform). Oddly , it picked up the mic no problem, but not the camera. After about 15 mins in , it picked up the camera. The phone is connected via USB to the Mac.

Is it because I was using Chrome rather than Safari?
Thanks

Yes. Not supported on Chrome currently, though supposedly works on a beta version so I guess support is coming.

I've used it, exclusively wirelessly, quite a bit recently and I it's been faultless tbh.

Though yes, for Teams you need to use the app or else Safari, and I don't think Teams supported the 'portrait' view either, though other, better software like Slack was fine.

Yeah, it works perfectly, though battery life does take a hit.

I cannot use Teams, with my RNLI account on Safari - it crashes
That said, if I go through to Chrome, same account, everything works fine. Even wireless . It seems it has learnt what it needs to do!

How strange. Like I say, the last I read it said Chrome didn't support it yet but it was coming soon, so maybe they've rolled out support in the meantime.

I'll try it soon... in my current job we're forced to use Teams too, though we're simultaneously blocked from logging in to any of the apps (!), so have to do it all through the browser, which makes everything even worse. Most people just use Slack but we do have a lot of Teams calls and it's possible to use the app as a guest, as long as you didn't organise the meeting, in which case you have to use the browser. It's all a lot of fun.

I generally use Safari for all personal stuff but Chrome for work, so not tried Teams in Safari yet. Knowing MS, I imagine they were reluctant enough to have to make it work in anything outside of Edge, so no surprise that it crashes Safari.
