New bike time

Post by Nordboy »

Well, sort of.

My Fazer is off to a new home Sunday, so all being well, that gives me a nice deposit on another set of two wheels.

So, this week I've ordered myself something brand spanky new.

A 2023 Yamaha Xmax Techmax 300 :D

Dark petrol in colour, the only issue is, that they're not in stock until May, I could have a base model in March, but I really want all the fancy dashboard stuff, so happy to wait.

I thoroughly enjoyed my BMW C400gt last year so I'm really looking forward to have more scooter fun. The current xmax 300 gets great reviews so hopefully the upgrades should make this a corker. nearly as quick as the 400 was (7 mph lower top end) but weighs a load less so should handle much better.

Nice work, no idea what one is but presumably a smaller Taipan scooter and that's a nice bit of kit

That's the current 300 model, the 2023 one has quite a lot of changes.

I can hopefully work out the pics thing by May

I'm not a patient person, so having to wait until May to get it will be a killer. I have my local dealers first MY 2023 xmax order.

Oh, and i also have to pick the appropriate time to inform Mrs Nordboy of the new arrival!!! What's the saying...better to ask for forgiveness than permission ??

They did have a Tmax techmax in the showroom, but that was a bit salty at nearly £13000
