Apologies. Not posted for a while. Hadn’t ridden in an age either aside from moving the MV from the old house to the new.
In fact I’ve used it so little (700 miles in 2 years) that I’d decided to get rid.
A mate of mine has a firestorm, he bought it when I had mine, 20 years ago. Likewise he’s hardly used it and had decided to sell it so we had a chat and decided on one last ride.

Well bugger me that turned my head around. What a fantastic bike it is! So no, definitely not for sale.

I bought the sc last year some time but can’t remember if I posted it on TRC...



Also bought this on Sat, delivered Sun.

It’s a smaller shell than the HJC it replaces and a little louder out on the road. I don’t normally like ‘coloured visors’ but I reckon the gold looks spot on the nxr with the Márquez graphics. Love it!

It was the Ducati. But either way i don't think it's the bikes fault, he just needs to give things a bit more of a try, he clearly loves the bike, he just needs to love riding again.

How old are the small humans now Claude ? Is free time getting more ?

I love the Brutalecan't fault it at all, I'd got a nice stretchy cover for it to keep it clean as I'd been polishing away so I was never seeing it, that didn't help either. I spend a good amount of time in the garage as my weights/bench are in there. Taking the cover off and seeing the prettiness has helped massively. For me looking at it is all part of the ownership, along with the riding.
Does that make sense?

No reliability issues that I've seen but then I've done less than 700 miles in 2 years, occasionally it'll leak a bit of petrol out the breather hose?!?!?

ooh yes, that is my only annoyance. Not so annoying that I'm going to replace the stanchion though.... maybe if it was the rc

Popped out again last Sunday with the newfound enthusiasm for riding.
My mate joined on his new to him MT09SP, One of the purposes was to test the new intercoms but I've spoken about that over in bike chat...
Bike itself is just 'perfect', well, it's not the throttle is far too jerky and (unfortunately) the S1 exhaust although beautiful and makes a lovely noise (to my ears) is just too loud.
The jerky throttle I'll live with, it's kind of part of the character, the exhaust I'm thinking about either putting the std back on (though I'm not a big fan of the looks... or going for a Termignoni or HP Horse Hydroflow;

Definitely the most cost-effective option. The angle of that pic and no plate hanger certainly helps though.

Noise is a massive factor it's why i bought and then bailed on the Black Widow system for mine as it was a 200mm can which would have just been ear bleedingly loud.
