"Somewhere in Cornwall" is a bit vague for me, what's wrong with it?

It's on the River Fowey if that helps narrow it down. But for a £10 minimum stake and you won it, would you really care?

Rental for me, preferably to film location company. Then I'd have a week or two every couple of years and ingratiate myself to the locals by saying we own this beautiful house here, but hardly ever use it... :silent: :shifty: :D

Do they still have a Red Arrows display there? Would be a great place to watch from.

After seeing the unsellable motors they put in raffles my first thought is why can't they sell it?

Omaze is massive. They did, well still do, loads of top end houses in the USA, before they came to the UK. That said i think a one their houses did have some controversy about it. I think the pictures showed a country pile in rambling grounds, but over the fence was the M25 lol. I doubt they have to worry about that now and can cherry pick the houses for their location?

*Edit* I remember now. It was the cotswold house which was allegdely prone to flooding and had been in the past several times?

It's probably worth £10 for the mooring. :D

My guess as to why they're raffling it is a) the obvious one, they'll make more than they would selling it on the market or b) looking at the construction, with all those flat roofs, it's going to be a maintenance nightmare sooner or later and a surveyor/mortgage lender might go :(

I haven't looked at the raffle site but what's vehicle access/parking like is another Q?

But hey...for £10, demolish it and put a houseboat on the mooring, you're still up on the deal.

I think I've stayed in the, fairly crappy, bungalow above it.

Fowey is alright, if you like fishing villages that are 75% holiday homes.

I remember quite fancying a KH400 until the 350LC was announced. The KH stood no chance after that.
