Anyone had it before for mental heath reasons?

A long time ago, yeah. Liberty cap.
Picked them on the short grass of the local cricket pitch, always had a hoot with them but have seen some people have a wobbler. Not entirely sure I was any more mentally stable than them so it is a double edged sword I guess. Being a simple but resilient chap my only problems have been faceache from grinning like a loon.
They grow in close proximity to similar mushrooms so identifiaction is vital.
It was so long ago that it was still legal as long as they werent "prepared" must be 20 odd years ago.

Once placed about 300 Liberty caps into a 1/4 bottle of vodka....and shared it with a mate.
That was a night to behold
Used to do mushies all the time, but grew out of it in the end when LSD became so easy to get, and then when pills came long...

Is this the stuff that comes in a little bottle? A friend was telling me about it, you put a dab on your wrist and lick it??
Thinking about it he said he got it in Bristol, which IIRC is where Greenman is?!
Thinking I would try and source some when I'm back in the UK next month.

First time i have had it. Friend gets 10ml bottles of it for £220!
Not even sure if illegal.

Nowadays I think its illegal to grow them which is slightly amusing cos they grow nicely on unimproved land and don't seem keen on fertiliser.
I'm pretty sure that the owners of Carlisle cricket pitch didn't plant them but there sure used to be masses growing there.
When I was a kid they used to grow outside our fell gate and that land was as unimproved as it gets.

In my youth I did >100 regular acid trips (purple ohms, strawbs' etc).
I managed about a 10th of that with regards to mushroom exploits.
Regular trips? No problem; lots of laughs, some deep philosophical walks with mates but nothing bad ever happened.
Mushrooms? Mostly ok. However, one year we decided to dry enough to fill a black bin bag. Then ground them into dust and put that on pizza/in tea. Never known anything like it. Proper hallucinations- chased by dinosaurs and at one point had a chat with Maggie Thatcher whilst atop the Harrogate park ferris wheel. Scary, but find memories in so many ways.
