What brake pads Yamaha MT07 2018

Hello people

The 2018 MT07 needs a fresh set of pads front and rear.
What should I be going for, it spends its life outside and is used for commuting.

For commuting I prefer ebc organic pads, I get through them reasonably quickly but they are powerful enough to do the job, and more importantly they work straight away in the wet unlike hh pads that I've tried that give a slight delay of a couple of wheel revolutions when the disks are wet and cold.
Organic pads are also a bit gentler on the disks so the disks last a bit longer.

I'm a big fan of SBS pads, and their ceramic HF range would seem to be a good match for your requirements:

Don't forget you can buy OE pads from your local Yamaha Stealership. They might be more money, but you know what type of job they do as the bike came with them and they were designed not to eat your discs as fast as something like EBC HH's.

I used SBS RS in the Street as they were the next best thing to the Brembos that it came with and a lot cheaper. The Brembos were £120 for a front set and I was getting as much life from them as a back tyre so it was getting expensive (very good though). The SBS RS were around £50 for a set with great performance - the only difference that I could tell was that the SBS took a tad longer to bite on very cold days.
