Probably will be in 10 minutes or so...

(I wonder if they'd lose interest if they knew it was Datatagged?).

The guy wanted the met police release papers and asked how it got to me with no chassis number. Told them it was through data tag and they were cool with it. A few minutes later I’m £3900 better off! 👍

Funny thing was he told me he was coming in a van, not a crew cab transit, which around here is 100% jikemobile. I have my campervan out the front so the drive was clear. I was keeping an eye on the cameras and saw that pull up next to my camper with 4 lads in it. I was out there like a shot! They looked miffed as I came blowing up the transit looking red faced and angry! :? :D

I told my Son to keep an eye on the cameras as I didn't know who was coming or how it was going to go. He saw 4 lads get out of the jikemobile and was home in minutes. He came skidding through the french doors like a swat team!

Can't blame you - alarm bells would be ringing as soon as they turned in to the road!
Decent result in the end though - still a few quid down but could have been a lot worse. 👍🏻

My (ex) next door neighbour got the job of selling his boy's nearly new* Mustang. I saw him showing 4 likely lads the car...he looked petrified! Not a happy feeling when the buyer turns up mob handed and expects to have, even chauffeured, a test drive that involves leaving at least one of them behind, checking out his Porsche Cayenne. :D

* I suspect it wasn't quite as new as it should be. Not long previously it suddenly disappeared into their garage - pending a few bodywork repairs I think.

That is a result, glad you got a decent wedge for it and it is off your hands. Good they asked sensible questions and were happy with their purchase. At least it is some money back into the bank (for now).

So you got £3900 & an insurance pay out, or didn't it have anti-chav coverage?
