In ear, noise cancelling ear phones - but wired

Post by Mr Moofo »

It looks like my in ear Bose earphones are about to bite the dust ( connection wired looks like it is about to break)

I would like to get some new in ear ones ( they are easier to sleep in)
But I want them wired rather that BT - and any wireless single EarPods type phones will get lost.

Any suggestions?

I'd stick with Bose for wired, I only moved away from Bose as liked the Sony BT option....

I was think that I hadn't seen any and use sony in ear and over ear noise cancelling but both bluetooth. It occurs to me that for noise cancelling you need power so once you have power in the headphones then you may as well add BT. Maybe that's why there aren't many wired noise cancelling earphones.

My issue with Bluetooth is a) use on planes (you have to plug in a BT adapter. That’ll never get lost!
b) how do people not lose earbuds. I used to lose a pen a day at work …

If you had a pen that constantly played loud music and you kept it in your ear then you'd probably not lose as many.

Dunno about noise cancelling etc but I bought some Skullcandy wired ones as a result of a v good review. They'll do for listening to radio but can't say I'm v impressed.

However, I struggle to get a good fit with in-ear stuff - small ear 'oles, even if the lugs aren't particularly petite - so they may be better than I think. Funny really, wife's tabs are small but the hole in 'em is bigger than mine.

Funny thing ears. If you listen to hi-fi and fiddle with your ears you can make more difference than half the upgrades do. Maybe I should market high end ear clips so you can adjust your lug 'oles.
