Re: What have you done today thread?
Ordered 13x oak pre finished, internal doors from Howdens, only took four calls for them to get it right... After my sister (whose account I'm using) told me not to order them online as they always fuck it up.
Just need to pick some ironwork and get the chippy booked, be fucked if I'm going to try hanging them when. 'wood goon' can do a better job for £40 a door.

Done my back in. In extreme pain when I move, so I’m not!! Ibuprofen for dinner I think. Fitted a motor mover to the caravan and felt something when I picked up my toolbox, so probably should have stopped but I didn’t, so self inflicted.

Blundering about trying not to make too much of a hash of things.

Google 'Yoga Cat and Cow'. It's good for the back.
That and hot and cold treatment. Works for me and I've got the sort of back that Quasimodo would wince at.

Wait till they deliver 13x doors, 5 of them the wrong size. It happens, DAMHIK.v8-powered wrote: ↑Tue Jan 31, 2023 9:23 amOnly 13? Re: What have you done today thread?
Discovered what appeared to be some bint living in her (absolutely beat to shit) Dodge SUV parked in front of the house. The fact that she was in the middle of the road at least 6ft from the curb was somewhat concerning...
Had to drive around her to get out of the driveway, still there when I got home 20 minutes later.
The Dibble were duly called for a welfare check & she buggered off pronto.
Bought tomorrow night's winning $653Million lottery ticket.

Re: What have you done today thread?
Received a telephone call from the wife.
Her boss has handed his notice in and they've offered her the job, £12k pay rise... For the first 6 months while she proves herself, then another £9k.
Better stop on the way home and buy her some fizz.

Nothing exciting for me!
Had the rear tyre on my Trumpet swapped over on to a freshly powder coated rim - easy job, makes me appreciate a SSSA even more than usual!
