The stories bad been floating about for a while and he'd even threatened journalists with court action in order to keep it covered up but after the boss of the tax office kind of blew his defence out of the water last week his position looked untenable.
Must have missed that. What's he guilty of?

Boris Johnson "has all the qualities" to replace Nadhim Zahawi as Tory Party chairman, Jacob Rees-Mogg suggested this morning.
TBF judging from the level of sleeze displayed thus far, I'd say JRM is right :D

Not informing anyone that he was under investigation by HMRC for a £5 million tax dodge.

When he became chancellor of the exchequer and it would have had a clear conflict of interests.

Basically more sleaze.

Don't worry about tax laws and sleaze. Worry about getting it done, sending them back and defending the statues.

Clearly no one has been paying Bozo the clown the attention he thinks he deserves recently - Putin threatened to kill me with a missile - Johnson
Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has claimed that Vladimir Putin told him "I don't want to hurt you, but with a missile, it would only take a minute", in a call ahead of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Mr Johnson said the "extraordinary" conversation took place in February after he had visited Kyiv in a last-ditch attempt to show Western support for Ukraine amid growing fears of a Russian assault.
Seriously, what is wrong with him? Is he really that needy for attention?

It's a news article, how is that needy or attention or anything?

Or is it that you're a bit bitter and resentful over a very very wealthy man?

As said, it's a news item which has picked a juicy snippet from:

Details of the exchange are revealed in a BBC documentary, examining Mr Putin's interactions with world leaders.

Why do you pick up on his wealth? Is he actually wealthy?

I don't care how much he has or hasn't got. What I do care about is that he is a pathetic, lying, attention seeking, untrustworthy stain on British politics.

No, some of the people who voted in the referendum caused the end of that dream.
