TBF, it just says a "1980 or earlier Kawasaki" so your ship should count.
Not sure if the ships that come here are that old, or that they were built by Kawasaki rather than for Kawasaki

Your bike & a 1980 or earlier Kawasaki. (so no GPz's or J models etc)... if your bike IS a 1980 or earlier Kaw, park it next to another one.
Easy peasy if I can be arsed
It's just a matter of taking your Kawa a couple of miles up the road, walking back for the Suzuki, riding to take a pic, riding home on the Suzuki, then walking back to pick up the Kawasaki.

There used to be an old CHiPs Kawasaki plod bike like the ones Jon and Ponch rode in the foyer of a yank themed restaurant near here but it went a couple of years ago so buggered if i can think of one i can get at the moment that old unless the local Kwak dealer has something in the back in for service

Most of the KZ1000Ps are post 1981, I think Kawasaki stopped making them in 1997, the pre 1981 bikes use the Z1000 engine with the kick start, 81 to 97 use the Z1000J engine.

ok FFS, lets make it 1985 or earlier.. so that opens it up to J's, GPz1100s & even GPz900R (A1 & A2)

I had plans to go out on the bike today. We've had lots of rain the past week and the salt was all washed away. It was dry and clear last night, but not icy,but of course they've slarried salt everywhere again and now it's to be dry and settled for a week.

Ho Hum.

Does it count if I ride my Suzuki out of the garage, then take a picture of it with my Kawasaki?

I’d normally say no as it’s not really riding anywhere but if it moves this on to something achievable at this time of year then yes. There weren’t many bikes out there today.

You've all got a week, otherwise it's me going for a ride then taking a picture of my bikes together, I could pop round my mates and take a picture with one of his, but he lives less than a mile away.

I don't think it's the topic as such, just not as many folk are riding at this time of year and that includes those old, pampered 80s bikes!

We could go back to it in the summer and choose something achievable to keep the game going now.
