That's very, very nicely done. That exhaust work is too.

I think the Mk2 is the prettiest of the big air cooled Kawasakis, but that has got a list of things I don't like, and the closer I look the more I don't like, I prefer my modified UJMs to look "period"

Re: MARK II MISSILE
The tail section and pillion seat is 'wrong'. It's too big and too long. Other than that, top work.

Re: MARK II MISSILE
The seat isn't. That's had the filling reduced at the front and added to at the rear, which is the main reason it looks off. I'll give you the tail unit (you're welcome to it). That's too long as standard.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 3:27 pmThey're stock Z1000 Mk2 partsmangocrazy wrote: ↑Fri Jan 27, 2023 3:23 pm The tail section and pillion seat is 'wrong'. The 1100 Zephyr engine is very heavy, noticeably heavier than the Z900/1000/1100 engines using the "oh, my fecking back" test.

Not quite the same league, but it was 1988, and all I had was a hammer and a bit of stainless!
