Lost the Internet
Aaargh some silly person has crashed into the virgin media cabinet up the road. We've been without the internet since before lunch and not getting it back to at least Sunday. Had to stop WFH. Can't watch Netflix, Prime, YouTube or IPTV. Going to have to watch normal TV. I'm having to type this on my phone. Its a bit of a to do

Re: Lost the Internet
My Plusnet router went toast mode early in the morning this week. Nipped out to Argos in Sainsburys to collect a new replacement and was up again in less than 5 minutes after arriving at home. Pity you cannot just buy a new cabinet for virgin and plug and play it! Did the dozy driver get fined/apprehended?

One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

Re: Lost the Internet
Backup up now, don't know how they managed to hit it. Its about 20m from from a "T" junction on the leg of the T at the back of the footpath on a housing estate with a 30mph limit. Don't know if they caught them or not. My daughter just saw the picture on the local Facebook page. A lot of use are on Virgin round here as we've had fibre foor years when it was Blueyonder.
Went to bed at 10.30 last night as there was nothing to watch on normal TV and nowadays I seldom record anything as we can stream most programs one way or another
