Just looking at that mug I can taste the black plastic. Shame really, 'cause I like the idea of said insulated mug.

I don't reckon the plastic imparts any flavour to the tea itself, it's just the fact you're basically licking/sucking on/tasting the plastic while you're drinking :D

I had one and that's what you taste. I use a flask thing I got through tech kings/amazon now and just pour it into a normal mug which works much better for me.

It shouldn't, it'd be breaking the food contact materials legislation if it did

The old lip/receptacle interface is a funny thing. Some things just 'taste' better when you drink them out of the right thing. Clearly it isn't really taste 'cos some things are better out of thin glass than thick glass and glass definitely doesn't have a flavour or taint things. It's also what you get used to - I quite like coffee out of those planet destroying paper cups (although some of them don't have the plastic coating inside), probably because that's what I got used to when grabbing a coffee between train and tube etc. (But heaven forbid having to drink one through a hole in the lid from any sort of vessel  ).

I bought some double walled glass coffee cups, espresso and cappuccino types and, basically, they're just wrong.

We got this Gourmia combo airfryer/convection oven version from Costco. Think it was $140. Does great pizza & crispy chicken parts.

I just bought a second hand ski jacket. It's really nice but €120 !!!

If I hadn't of found €150 in the pocket, it would have been expensive !!

Presumably you'll do the right thing and inform them that they had left a large sum of money in the jacket?

Well you see, it was a ski instructors jacket. I know this because the ski pass was also left in it. Unfortunately there's no way to identify which instructor this particular jacket belonged to (the shop had about 8 of these for sale). So while I could go to the ski school and say "one of your instructors left €150 in a jacket". There's no guarantee that the rightful owner would ever get their cash.

What would you do?

I'd ask the ski instructors if they're missing anything.

If it's a season pass the ticket office should be able to find out whose it is.....

I'd have kept quiet about it.

My moral compass couldn't keep quiet about it. With todays struggles people are facing, when I'm doing ok I couldn't keep a stash of cash which isn't mine. For all I would know, the jacket could have been sold to help with the cost of living, feeding a family etc, so the keep the cash just wouldn't sit right with me.

I bet 1500 euro won't go so far in Courchevel on Coke and hookers

If you don't 'need' to snort it out of her bum hole with a straw it's not that expensive.

Welp.. Celestron Skymasters showed up...

Phone attach gizmo isn't worth a spoon of spit. Protective lens caps fall off just by picking up the binocs. Floppy storage bag is bit cheap (quality-wise), but a hard shell doodad is cheap (price-wise). Woman in the next street over just had a shower.
