It will be a brownish black colour and will mark anything it touches. It's formulated to do a particular job and it's absolutely the best for that purpose. But don't mistake it for Marmite and put it on your toast. That won't end well...

As said, dark brown, and darker with each coat.

Buy 20 litres, you'll use it all eventually. And they might ban it soon.
