Battery Tender brand here, doubled the life of batteries in the ZRX11. Bike was always plugged into it 24/7 unless I was out riding. The issue now is finding Yuasa batteries instead of Chinese crap. Yuasa's website doesn't list anywhere within 500 miles of LA that carries them.

Picked up a Noco last week, great job and easy to use. Put it on for a day. It started slightly under voltage so it needed it.

Given that lead-acid batteries don't like to be flattened ('deep-discharged') I'm guessing the most important thing is to avoid that, which maybe could include starting the bike with a partially discharged battery after a few weeks without being used - especially in very cold weather. So whether you have your charger hooked up all the time, or just periodically, is probably secondary.

This opinion was brought to you in the great forum tradition of being based on a mixture of hunch, hearsay, minimal study and unjustified self confidence. :shifty:
