I'm particularly impressed by the degree of unevenness of the wear pattern.
Must be one of those modern chain/sprocket combos that never need lubing or the tension adjusting. That's an Olympic standard of lack of maintenance.

I can honestly say that the above exhibit has the least amount of teeth material of any sprocket I have ever seen, and by some distance. He complained that the clutch was slipping. A quick look confirmed that the rear sprocket circumference had given up on any suggestion of 'teeth'. Instead, it had a low 'wave' effect.
