Not exactly a difficult styling brief...

I dunno, designing a bike uglier than the MT07 took quite some doing, but who ever did it over achieved.

It has, the R1 is the big sportsbike, the R9 will be the new version of the FZR600.

In 2022 the R1 makes 198bhp.

In 1999 the R6 made 112bhp.

In 2023 he R9 will make 118bhp.

Yes there's emissions etc... but they effect the R1 too and it makes 60bhp more!

Some bikes have a narrow audience. One year F.E. bought 2 R1s for us instructors to use, free of charge.
We all tried them. But everyone decided to use their own bikes instead.
They were sold by mid summer.
