The battery is normally kept at 80% when plugged in and if I run it on battery from that it will drop from 80% to 70% in about 90 minutes with light usage and the screen up pretty bright so battery doesn't seem bad.
However, any time I put it into sleep mode when on battery, even if at 80% and the sleep is, say, a minute, when it comes out of sleep I logon and then it goes immediately into hibernation.
When I then bring it out of hibernation, even if it is plugged in, and log back on it comes up with an immediate 'battery is very low' warning and goes straight back into hibernation.
If it's plugged in it will come back on and say the battery is at 0/1% but within 10mins or so goes back to showing 80%.
If it's not plugged in it won't come on at all, no matter what I press.
It's really annoying as it means I can't take it away from power without a full shutdown and if I accidentally let it sleep when I don't have power it won't come back on again until I do.
Wondered if there's a simple way of checking whether it's a software or hardware issue?
