Perfect - that's no great distance at all!
The stupid thing is I remember them from my despatch riding days, but had completely forgotten!
I need a bit of work done over the winter, so I'll give 'em a call.

Just remember their main work is tyre sales and fitting as well as quick turnaround consumables like pads, C & S kits and such like. They do more involved work but might take a while to fit in. Bob is a mate from many years back when he started racing as a complete loon teenager and has just taken on a new bloke called Matt (also a racer and recently finished in my old line of work) to manage the workshop basically take some of the load off Bob as EVERYBODY asks for him by name (including me) when they ring upThe Spin Doctor wrote: ↑Thu Sep 17, 2020 9:30 am Perfect - that's no great distance at all!

Re: Found a spanner/race shop in hungerford
I've been going there for a dozen years or more. I've always found them quick, straightforward and well-priced. I recently had a full service (incl valve check) for the NC there and the price was a bit eye-watering, but it also involved a new rear disc and a couple of Road 5 tyres. Bob was nevertheless a bit apologetic and reduced the labour hours a bit. It might be their new mechanic is a bit inexperienced, I don't know. Bob's business partner, Chris, left recently to set up his own tyre shop. I see a certain Ben Cope is working with him. Anyone we might know? https://twotyres.co.uk/
