Seems like it's been "nearly " for ages- what's the hold-up old boy?

( not that I'm in any position to pass any comment on project bike timelines admittedly- well with one or two exceptions :D )

He’s free to come and go as he pleases, keeps an eye in things, never joins us for dinner though.

All situations covered - the Serow is great for the little muddy lanes and tracks round here, the Orange for everything else, and the TD for summer high days and holidays.

And yes, I'm waiting to be called for my Christmas dinner.... 👍🎅😋😋

I had an FZR600R, which is pretty much the same bike as the Thundercat, it was a brilliant bike, I really liked it, but decided I wanted something more focused, so traded it in for an early 750 SRAD. Honda 400 V fours are brilliant handling bikes, I don't like the engine, but the handling really is fantastic.

This lovely old Monster :D

She was never supposed to be a road bike, and certainly not my only road bike!! But damn she's fun. And pretty perfect really for the local roads :D

Sad I can't ride her as much as I'd like TBH, but she's staying :D Once I've sorted the reregistering, she'll stay in the garage for fun days out or as a 'spare' for visitors (as long as I add another bike next summer - if not, I'll be riding the lovely Red Monster, just not as often as I'd like to :( )

There are some fine bike photos here. I love the 400s personally being small and compact like myself. The handling is superb.
Picked up the Thundercat for a song, and I really like it’s steady user friendliness. I was looking for an SV650 or an ER6 at the time.
I am hankering after a GS550 though to get some retro cool in my life

My Swamp rat Thundercat looked like that in a previous life. I got it to rat till it dies but stripped it down and chucked a lot of shit in the bin and bought a few bits then Boom. Got busy in work so its still under a tarp. Ill not embarrass myself wit a picture but this sprocket may let you know how it looks

It did have potential when i got it

Does that actually qualify as a 'sprocket'?

We should have a Rogue's Gallery of 'most abused components'. :D
