100%, I don’t even like football that much but when I do catch a glimpse of it what he can do with a football especially when attacking the defenders is unreal, far superior to what Ronaldo can do, all he can do is punt it by them and try and run by them, but of course he ends up going down like a sack of tatties hoping for a penalty, is that why he’s called Penaldo? 👀

Absolute cracking match and in the end glad the argies won. France seemed a bit stunned for the first hour or so. Icing on the cake for Messi. Argie crowd was great.

But wtf was all the awards for 🤷🏻‍♂️ I was waiting for the bridesmaids to show. 😄👍

Genuinely the first full game of football I've watched (I really dislike football) and was enthralled by what I saw. If it was like this normally I could be converted..

One of the best matches i have seen in years but i do watch a bit of Scottish football so no great surprise. Was willing France on to the end and a shame anyone is sent packing on penalties but them the rules 10/10

Wonder if Mbappe missed his first penalty Harry Kane would be sitting at home laughing

Here's a quiz question

Mbappe scored 3 (4) and still lost.

Which player once scored 5 and still lost?

Yes, a top flight game.

I know of an old school one with Denis Law at Man City in a match but he scored 6 and then the match was abandoned. In the rematch Man City lost (can’t remember the score as it’s one I read about ages ago) so He scored 6 but lost overall

Great world cup in the end then, and what a final!
I nodded off 2 or 3 times in the second half as it was so dreary but a great comeback from the French.

Well done Messi and co.
