I really like the look of that, and I'm not an IL4 kinda guy. It looks way better than the original and has a very purposeful air about it, without a lot of the hipsterbollocks that normally accompanies these builds. Thumbs up and a 4.9 out of 5 from me.

I've seen a few of these. The best was one done in classic Yamaha race colours, white and red.

That's pretty tidy.
All black is a bit if a cheat because it hides a multitude of sins but even so it's tricky to take a modern framed water cooled bike and make it look anything like 'classic'

I've got my auld Fazer so all i need is a set of blingy gold USD forks, some clip ons, a rattle can tin of satin black and a funny seat

The Fazer is at least 10bhp down on that figure, would that be just because of the difference in carbs & airbox arrangement? ie are the engines exactly the same?The bike sported a 599cc 16-valve inline four from the YZF600 Thundercat, making just under 100 bhp in stock tune
