Wonder what they're going to do with the stadia when it's all over?

Can't imagine Doha Athletic and Al Wakrah Rovers will have much use for places that size.

Just bid for more sports events?

Hmm, just thinking if 3rd place is better than 2nd?
Tmrw one team will be heartbroken, but today Croatia were ecstatic and really excited to get third place.

They'll go home having won their last match :)
Tmrw a team will go home miserable having lost their last match.

Even the Croatia manager agrees with me ;)

Dalic said: "We won the bronze medal and it has a golden layer, it is like we have won the gold medal tonight.

Waddya reckon ?

History books will indicate second is better, but not having thought about it before , winning bronze is winning , and silver is losing , so personally I would take the positivity of the bronze over the silver which is a bit meh at best

Difficult one this afternoon, the age old enemy or new upstart complaining about the falklands.

On balance I think I’m going for Argentina. Fitting end to Messi’s career and their country is in a pretty shit state so the boost may do them good. Plus France beat us. :D

France to win 3-0, why not just to piss off the Messi love in about deserving to win the world cup, no he doesn't.

France to win in normal time 2-0. ;)

The Argentinians have Messi, the French have Mbbape, Griezmann and Giroud who can turn a game in a moment of genius

I'm off out in 5 to watch the game. I'm not going to make any predictions though as I'm not really bothered.

I am going to pick up M's winnings though as she had Croatia in the sweepstake.

If there's a World Cup for the most enthusiastic singing of the national anthem, the Argies just won it! :D

Tbh, it was an easy one for the ref. It wasn't massive contact, but enough that he couldn't not give it

I think we were lucky they turned up!

No game plan, no midfield, no cup.

Wow!
"Of all the stories you told me, which ones were true and which ones weren't?"
"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."
