This latest extraordinary revelation that Twitter was effectively being stage managed by the Democratic Party (yes there is a chain of command all the way to the government) is not to be dismissed lightly.

Why they do it is equally worrying. I believe it is a simple matter of “divide and conquer”. Keep the population so divided with divisive identity politics that they cannot come together and form an alliance against the real power which is of course increasingly not corrupt politicians but their equally corrupt corporate masters.

There must be dozens/hundreds of news outlets in the US. So did they all do like 5s each, or did one of them do 15 minutes or what?

I get that the point here is "the rest of the networks aren't covering it", but the figure of 17 mins seems both remarkably specific and hard to believe.

The MSM would be ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN & Fox. All stations are affiliated with one of those (not so much CNN tho) & report the national/world news. We get 30 minutes of news from the actual local station & 30 minutes from ABC/NBC/CBS etc. The 17 minute number comes from their national feed to the affiliates.
Ferinstance: One of my local stations pretty much has Musk news several times every day up until the first release of the Twitter Files. Both on the local 30 minutes & the national feed. Today the local news program actually reported on Musk again for the first time since that release... And it was about Tesla shares dropping so Musk is no longer the richest guy on the planet. No mention of the file release at all.

I'm surprised it was as high as 17 minutes.

The @ElonJet account, which has more than half a million followers, was suspended on Wednesday.

Its owner Jack Sweeney, 20, used publicly available flight-tracking information to tweet every time Mr Musk's jet took off and landed.

Elon did not "accuse him" of or "suggest" anything, among the files Elon released en masse were the thoughts and posts from Yoel where he advocates methods for introducing children into the queer social landscape. Also rather than merely prevent children from being able to engage in Twitter, they could be passed on to Grindr.

Our own British Medical Journal tried to question the veracity of some of his statements about "the science", their comments were censored. The BMJ flagged as "disinformation". On stage when questioned by journalists about which direction we should follow the science, Fauci protested "I am the science". The very definition of an argument from authority because clearly there was a political agenda.

Many of the diktats supported by Fauci and implemented by the US administration turned out to be wrong or at least based on false premise. There are too many to list and they are still contentious now but the point is, actions based on "the science" should always be a debate and agreed by consensus. The actual scientific evidence itself therefore needs to be freely available so that we can all see for ourselves what the plan is and what evidence that strategy is based upon.

I think the point is that there is always some sort of medical consensus, they're trying to ringfence it to legitimate areas of debate (because there's been an awful lot of bullshitting). This is good and reasonable.
You can use words such as "censorship", "weapon" and "political agenda" because they add something to your own agenda, but it just adds to the aggravation.

If you're going to make a list of US figures during COVID that need to stand up and be asked a few questions, then I suggest Fauci doesn't come anywhere near the top of the list - maybe better to focus on the infamous COVID bullshitters like Trump and other Republican governers who gave their opinion often and at length from a basis of knowing sweet FA. Fauci was being asked his (qualified) opinion 24-7 and in real time and against a moving background of data and impacts. What he wasn't doing was riffing on what-ifs? and maybe? bollocks about bleaching covid out of your veins.
