Pull 2 - feels like a Guzzi
Pull 3 - feels like a BSA
Pull 4 - behaves like a Ducati

My lovely old (relatively!) Ducati starts really well. Only time I ever had an issue was after it had been sat in a garage for about 8 months. Which reminds me, I need to go down to the garage and start it - just to see if it does!!

Sadly it can't be my daily bike, but that isn't really the bikes fault. It will still be used more than looked at!! :D

If you aren't gonna ride it probably best not too. Starting a bike in the freezing cold without getting it really nice and hot like when you go for a ride is more likely just to cause a bunch of condensation

That's my local Trumpet Dealership, it's 8 miles from my front door.

Want me to go look at it for you?

Controversial I'm sure but they are far nicer than the whole 748, 916, 996, 998 range - a far better looking bike I think.

I agree the 999 shape has aged quite well, the problem is it started off at "Fugly younger sibling" and has just about reached "yeah it's OK I 'spose" now.

As you'd expect, we've owned most of the genre

The one i'd own again is the 848... Ours was pretty trick i'll admit, but it was a lovely lovely thing.

Now you're talkin'.

Lose the paint job from a group B rally car and I'm in.

I think it looks brilliant, it's the very essence of 1990's motorbikes, like a shell suit GSXR but more sexy and curvy and Italian.

Bimota seemed to capture that era brilliantly, but to be fair they didn't always get it right, as an example of the difference in yours and my personal taste then the reason I could never own a Diavel is because all I see when I look at them is a Bimota Mantra.

They're both very ugly, I'm not sure which one repulses me more, the Mantra is less camp.

McSanta will hunt you down and eat your liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti. Or worse.

I'd be tempted by an '80s Ducati, but only because I've been there before and would know what to expect, assuming that's what I'd be looking for, and currently that wouldn't happen because I've now got a temperamental classic to tinker with.

And I will help him.
The V4 Diavel is all becoming a bit Gianni Versace - those wheels, that exhaust - they have already had a Lambo version of the 1260 - which looks like an old tart's handbag.

But we have seen that LFG rides old shonkers the nobody else wants ... ;)
