Smart Watch.

Post by Yorick »

Gonna get the missus a new smart watch. Lots of the rated ones don't work for walking and hiking. That's the important bit.

Needs to look like a watch, not those tiny thingies
And easy to use. Doesn't need all the whistles and bells.
Under £200

So what's out there ?

I had a Polar M430 for a good three years for MTB and walking and it worked OK, only gripe was that the HR monitor wasn't particularly accurate without a chest strap monitor. GPS and altitude never missed a beat.

"My dear Doctor, they're all true."
"Even the lies?"
"Especially the lies."

I use a garmin instinct, easily get over a week of use from one charge with a few rides being recorded too
