A really lovely looking thing. Probably very handy, too, although I'd need to drop the pegs down a bit!

I like a lot of the work from AC Sanctuary. They do the restomod thing really well on old UJMs.

Ugh, reminds me of my square old z550 of the same vintage. I gave it away in return for a packets of fags, that was 20 years ago and it was half disintegrated even then. Definitely the worst quality bike I've ever owned.

Re: Mean Z1R
That's because the Z500/550 were styled like a small Z1R, I don't know about the 550 but you had to thrash the tits out of the 500 just to keep up with 250 two strokes, the Z400J was even slower.

Never did like that fairing & I owned two Z1-R's (I think I still have some parts). Saw one with a ZRX fairing painted in the Stardust Silver & it looked much better.

Re: Mean Z1R
Not sure about the pinstriping and the way it follows every detail of all the square-edged bits. If they'd rounded off the pinstriping in certain key areas like the tank, top fairing and tail section I think it would have looked better. Other than that, it's been done properly and should be very nice to ride.
