Hard to call between the Argies and the Croats for the Final. Possibly Argentina have the edge.

Nope
I am surprised that opposition teams don’t turn their backs and bare their arses
It’s all gamesmanship - why do the All Blacks get a free pass?

I'm looking at the score on the BBC site from time to time, I'll turn the telly on at some point but it'll be a tactical decision to minimise disappointment.

Shame. Gutted for you but not Harry Kane. If he spent less time whining his head may have been in a better place.

Well I reckon England put on a decent show. They can compete with France. Saka was great , think Walker was struggling with Mbappe a bit, but we can't rely on penalties to score goals, that was the difference.

Let's hope Morocco do em. 👍

Wifey, who I've never known to watch football ever, was shouting at the telly with the England player on the floor holding his foot for no reason.

Anyway, England players giving a tearful summary of the game: if you'd have played a bit better you'd have won.

So disappointing but a helluva game.

My missus has less than zero interest in football but watched it with me and was screaming, shouting and palpitating with me.

Everyone will complain about the reffing which was definitely a little suspect on occasion. No idea why that last penalty wasn't a red card.

Despite the goals against I thought England were ok, reasonable defence, fairly aggressive going forward.
But at the end of the day they didn't score any in open play, you can't rely on pens.

At least we didn't suffer the tragedy of a penalty shootout.

They played well in the second half but yet again it’s the dreaded penalty kick that puts England out of a major tournament.

You have a good squad there and a good togetherness but lost out to a slightly better side but the French didn’t walk it
