I'll make a leftfield prediction here.

I don't think this game will be going to penalties..

Last time I saw Portugal play in a major tournament without him they were excellent as they weren’t always looking for him to play to
You got that analysis/prediction pretty well spot on.
Fernades and Silva always look just for him, tonight they looked for each other, Felix, Ramos and the wing backs as well. Flowed superbly. When Ronaldo came on he was desperate to score but again another one of the new generation went for goal himself and scored.

He has a part to play in that team but they also don’t need to rely on him anymore as the talent of the younger players is superb

Should have put some money on it but one thing I don’t do is bet ;)

What kind of half baked tournament is this? There's no footie on! :(

Oh well, have a cartoon from the finest football cartoonist to ever support Swindon AND Crocodile Dundee United.

Interesting. I can't see Morocco conceding 4, but apart from that its completely believable.
I think Messi might turn it on as there seems to be bit of a thing going on with the big egos.

I really hope your final prediction is wrong, but its potentially the game of the tournament.

I hope my final prediction is wrong too...but I didn't want to jinx them  I'm still not sure what I think about this England side. Are they as good as the sum of the parts? France are quite a beefy side but quite agile, they're good at 'bossing' but if they are down will they sulk? Same with Brazil, good when they're in the driving seat but if they get to 'mixing it' with a tough but talented outfit will they wilt a bit? Who knows?

Morocco are very organised defensively but if they have to chase it could come unravelled against Portugal if they play like the last game.

I expect all my predictions are wrong though....so I don't bet. :D

I think England's match will come down to which team defends best. Both can attack fast. So my last four is...

Brazil
Netherlands, formerly known as Holland.
Morroco
France

No sympathy - I had to 'watch' the entirety of the last World Cup Final on terrible wifi, crammed into an airport departure lounge
