Biden doesn't need to micromanage the FBI when they have people like Peter Strzok & the bint he was banging on the side working there.

Re: Chief Twit
What is it proof of then?
The list of things you can get short-term bans on on FB must be as long as your arm, a friend of mine was auto-banned for calling me a 'cheeky monkey' FFS. Maybe it also includes sad-act political memes? I dunno, I'm not on there often enough to have a proper view on it. But either way, moderation of social media forums is just a tool to keep a lid on the outrage - the 5% of keyboardy freedom fighters who want to make life difficult for the rest of us by constantly opening our eyes for us. I wouldn't use it as a test of free speech and, a bit like on here, I wouldn't want to be the owner / publisher of a forum responsible for your efforts at free speech.

How many people do you think post beach/pool pics where the bloke isn't wearing a shirt & you can see his nipples?.. & get a 30 day suspension from FB for it? Man nipples are now "intimate images"??DefTrap wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 4:46 pm What is it proof of then?

While that 30 dayer was in effect I saw multiple posts by other people who had all got dinged for the same meme over the last 2 or 3 months. The posts we all got dinged for were from about 18 months ago & it took over a year for FB to react to that one meme? The comment on the meme was "Tax payers pay for this guy to fly on AirForce One".. but according to FB, the visible nipples were the issue.

Re: Chief Twit
No thanks, I got 2x 30 dayers & 2x 29 dayers in quick succession which lead to me being on FB for about 20 days total between the suspensions
I'm a FB recidivist

Re: Chief Twit
Except they didn't soft pedal it, the FBI outright claimed it was Russian misinformation when they already knew it was genuine, as did the "50 former intelligence agents" who all signed a letter stating it was BS.Count Steer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:48 pm
I suppose, while there was/is any question about the laptop and the contents, particularly over it being a fit up by the >insert suspects here< some media and the FBI would soft-pedal on it while the right wing, swivel-eyed Trumpets and their media expect them to leap on it because it suits them to believe everything that fits their own narrative.
There are more than enough reasons to be a bit about it all.
The went from "It's Russian misinformation" to "ok, it is Hunters laptop" to "ok, Joe is mentioned multiple times in emails on the laptop, but he didn't do anything wrong"..
& those emails (& photos of joe with various people) prove beyond any doubt that Joe Biden is lying his ass off about being up to his neck in all sorts of shady deals & is almost certainly compromised by foreign influence by Ukraine, Russia, China & who knows who else.

Re: Chief Twit
Has anyone pointed out yet that these "Twitter Files" also show that in 2020 Team Trump requested that multiple posts be taken down and said requests were granted?
If someone wants to come at it from a 1st Amendment POV they might wish to remember who the government actually were in 2020

So the world has finally caught up and the thread I started back in April which was locked for being tinfoil hat conspiracy nonsense, turns out to have been true all along.
Not the first time I have been six months ahead of the truth. Not the first time my threads get locked for being conspiracy theorist nonsense.
Just sayin'.

You can add that to the list yes. Have you not been following the news at all?
Obviously not the news you're looking at. But the truth seekers never do a very good job of providing any.evidence, let alone any expert analysis
Presumably every scientist in the world is being controlled by biden from his semi catatonic state as well?

Re: Chief Twit
I think alot of people are seeing these Twitter reveals as some great "Aha! GOTCHA!" reveal, whereas the facts don't support (or refute TBF) that...all that's actually been proven is that the FBI talked to Twitter about content moderation. We should also remember that both the FBI ajs Twitter would have been pretty touchy about it at the time given the then recent goings on with alleged Russian collusion.
As I said both 'sides' ask for, and got, stuff removed which straight away pokes a pretty big hole in any arguments of conspiracy.
The rest is just conjecture to suit your bias.

Again, you make an abstract hand waving "somewhere over there you're wrong" gesture without nailing down precisely what it was I said that has tripped your knee jerk reaction. Somewhat ironic when you are criticising <something> for lack of evidence and "expert" analysis.
"Presumably" you say? Well that just about sums up your opinion.

You were wrong then and you're still wrong, but to be fair it's only a few months ago, so maybe if you keep digging you'll find some more evidence of obvious corruption?, like the FBI deleting your Facebook meme or something.

Re: Chief Twit
That is about as tame a précis as I have seen for the extraordinary scale of the operation that was in place to suppress news stories the sitting government don't want aired. Don't forget, it's not just Twitter. It's Google, Youtube. Instagram, FaceBook et.al. (according to my tinfolhatometer).Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Tue Dec 06, 2022 8:22 am I think alot of people are seeing these Twitter reveals as some great "Aha! Twitter has been revealed as an extension of the political propaganda machine. Totally one sided which was obvious to anyone who was paying attention. But now the truth is revealed, you can't dismiss such claims as "conspiracy theory", "lizard lords" so you're suggesting a sort of "meh, so what".
Is that where you're going with that? Seems like you haven't fully considered the implications of state controlled "news".
Free speech isn't some trivial facet of our society, nor is it something that just happens with every level of governance. It is a very hard won right that we all enjoy thanks to the extreme efforts of our armed forces for example.
Yes, as has been observed more openly by a number of politicians who should know better, authoritarianism is indeed a much easier way to run a country. I would hope we share the opinion that the China model is not one we would willingly subscribe to.

I did ask you for a specific example and since you insist "you were wrong then and are <therefore> wrong now" you'll excuse me for asking for an actual example. Something I have said and not something in your imagination.
