Very handy when needed, but hopefully it'll spend most of it's life in a drawer.

I'm trying to find someone with one of these, so I can get rid of my service reminder message on the armchair.

Oxford Hinterland kit arrived today, jacket and trousers.

Trousers are great, best fitting bike trousers I have ever had, knee and hip armour in the right places and really comfortable.
Jacket, OK, but lacking in pockets, and thermal liner does not close independently.

Waterproofness - not tested yet, haven't even taken the tags off.
Comfort on the bike - ditto.

Further comments in due course.

My new jacket has a Reissa membrane which I’ve never heard of? It does look like its one of those jackets I don't normlly like? The outer layer gets wet and heavy but the water doesn't penetrate the membrane. Will have to see hwoo I get on with it. Might end up nikwaxing the outer shell.

Oxford Montreal Textile Gloves - Stealth Black - £34.99

These are not a very warm glove. My hands were very cold over the last few days riding, so I reverted to my trusty lobster claws and despite the weather being colder still this morning, my hands were still warm at the end of my journey.

So I don't recommend the Oxford Montreal Textile Gloves as a winter glove.

Is the Montreal more of a spring/summer waterproof glove? (It’s not insulated.)

That would explain it. I did buy them as a winter glove with reviews saying they were warm and dry etc and I tend to go buy reviews than spec. To be fair, its only since the tempretues have really dropped I've had the complaint and was perfectly happy with them until then.

I had muffs on the SH for Winter. I only ever used Summer gloves. I hate bulky gloves,it's like having a wank with boxing gloves on.

They are the dogs 'nads - had them on my old VFR and I rode through winter in summer gloves!

I agree

On the muffs being the dogs dangly bits in winter but i'll defer to your knowledge on how to ruin your boxing gloves

Just bought a pair of RST Paragon 6 heated gloves. Let's see if they help with my very cold hands, even in mild temps! They were on offer at J&S at £149.99.

Shouldn't be your problem, the supplier hired them, they should sort it out for you.

Sbs have been on to dpd. Massive backlog. They offered to resend order, cancel order or they'll chase them up and keep me updated. I chose latter for now, won't be using bike for a while anyway.

Helmet City have not replied to my email.

Waiting for refund off currys.

Happy Xmas from Dpd. 🎅👍
