"It is road legal and registered as a husqvarna 577 (up to the new owner to change the engine size)"
Why should the new owner be re-registering it? What's dodgy about the new engine?

He also posts pimped up Thai 150cc scoots. Some of them are proper trick!

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
I was going to put this on the Ebay WTF thread, just because of the price.
IIRC Cheb had an R1Z?
It looks in immaculate condition and I even like the RD Milky Way paint job.
£10k tho!!!!

It looks wrong in the same way a Blackbird with a Repsol colour scheme does. That tailpiece especially.

I like it, but that tail unit does indeed look odd. Seems it's been sort of modified / extended compared to stock.
Oh, and far too expensive, yes.

Why is a KTM 690 registered as a Husqvarna 577.Taipan wrote: ↑Wed Nov 23, 2022 7:02 pm Just saw this on the bike bay!
2010 KTM 690 · Driven 20,000 kilometres
*Ktm smc-r GSXR 1000 conversion*
Chris Thorpe 1000cc raven supermoto (well known bike builder, do your research if your unsure, few videos on youtube also.)
Build fully documented.
1 of 4 bikes currently on the road.
Stiffer suspension done by actiforce racing making the bike handle Perfectly, only way to describe this bike is it goes like a sports bike and handles like a supermoto, along with a reliable Japanese lump. Perfect for a quick blast at weekend or commute on the motorway.
Currently has a daytime mot but full wiring a swich gear for lights already on (front a rear lights only need wiring it (lights supplied with bike)
The running gear Came from a complete gsxr1000 k4 with 16000 miles on it
Brembo master cylinder
It is road legal and registered as a husqvarna 577 (up to the new owner to change the engine size)
Ktm 690 chassis
Alpina wheels
New Michelin 2ct tyres
Gsxr K4 1000 running gear
Quickshifter
Power commander.
As fishy as Billingsgate?

Re: interesting bikes found randomly..
I think so, it came up on Face Berk, it'll probably get removed from there as it encourages drinking and riding, though I'd have to drink a lot of Pernod to try that on a Z13
