Friends Yam 900 had some shiny radiator hoses. I enquired as to what he put on them.
"It's pig snot"
Excuse me?
"Pig lips!"

"No, wait a sec" (fiddles with his phone)...."Pig Spit!"

So I ordered a can, it showed up today. I assumed it would some spooge like goop, but it's an aerosol & sprays like a solvent.
Put some on a rag & wiped the rear springs on the ZRX... underwhelmed..
Decided to just spray it straight from the can.. Holy crap! The (black coated) springs weren't this shiny when the bike was new 23 years ago. Well chuffed.



Better than the old Holt's Ignition Sealer we all used back in the day.

ACF50 makes everything shiny too... and it's ever so slightly sticky so all the dust in the world sticks to it after your first ride.

Appears to be for horses. Available on Amazon, described as a light mineral oil spray. Makes your horse shiny.

When I had my Harley its name popped up often on the Yank forums using it on their Harleys stain finish and the rest of the bike. It did seem to very popular over there.

Probably not a good idea in the UK, doesn't stay on when it gets wet. Not an issue here in the Mojave.
