None of that has anything to do with Brexit, so I don't see what you're trying to say.Asian Boss wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 10:42 pmWhat's the world coming to? My local was the Canterbury Arms in Brixton. One of the barman got sent down for the rape & murder of some old gal in her 80's. Kevin something, can't recall his last name, but his dad also worked at the pub. This would have been around 1980-83. Claimed he was shitfaced drunk & had no recollection of the attack. Having known the guy for a few years & seen his booze fueled rages it was possible.gremlin wrote: ↑Mon Nov 28, 2022 10:04 am Nice to see my old stomping ground has lost none of its genteel charm....
Boy, 16, arrested after two teens fatally stabbed in London

I used to live on Titmuss Avenue. It was shithole then, clearly it's a shithole still. My mum moved out many years back as there was a murder down the road and the perpetrator lived below her and a baying mob turned up with petrol bombs. And let's not the forget the time there was a lad hacked to death with an axe just behind our charming first floor maisonette.
Ahhh. South London....

Mind you, I think I'm safe as my family have barely got a pot to piss in, let alone an estate in Barbados.

Fundamental misunderstanding of casualty figures being presented as deaths. Unbelievable!

I don't think people should be directly punished for the actions of their ancestors per se, but at the same time he's only got this massive gaff in Barbados off the back of slave labour. I imagine if I were to forcibly remove a load of people from their homes and then make 'em work 7 days a week for no pay I could build up a decent nest egg to leave my children too.

Love it. Some years back there was a schoolboy who took Tetley to task as their teabags didn't have 1000 perforations as they stated.
